Bikaner, 09 March (HS). Chief Justice of India DY Chandrachud addressed the Our Constitution, Our Honor program in Bikaner on Saturday. He said that brotherhood is very important to maintain equality in the country. According to the spirit of the Constitution, we should respect each other. How will the country progress if people fight among themselves? The framers of the Constitution thought that human dignity had the highest place. Baba Saheb Ambedkar had ensured that the values of justice, liberty and equality along with the spirit of fraternity and dignity of the individual were upheld in the Constitution. He announced the launch of e-court facility in Bikaner.

In a program organized by the Ministry of Justice in the auditorium of Maharaja Ganga Singh University, Bikaner, the CJI said that often I see that people do not look at their juniors with respect. Don't talk politely to your driver. People think that the driver is small. They look at the cleaner with inferiority complex. Any person may be low in position, but that person also has as much dignity as we do. There is a post in the Supreme Court which was called Jamadar since 1950. He was being called Jamadar for 75 years, now his name has been changed.

CJI said that there is a relationship between democracy and the Constitution. Understanding the Constitution also develops the understanding of democracy. There is a need to convey the message of the Constitution to every person. The spirit of the Constitution will have to reach every citizen. Chief Justice DY Chandrachud said that decisions should be given in the local language in any court of the country. If I am sitting in Delhi and giving a decision for a lawyer or a judge, then it may be in difficult language, but if I am giving a decision for the common man then it should definitely be in simple language. There should be improvement in the district level court buildings of the country. This building should be of modern standard. Chandrachud said that the Supreme Court of the country is situated in Tilak Nagar, New Delhi. In such a situation, this is not the Supreme Court of Tilak Nagar, this is the Supreme Court of India, then it should reach every house in India. Rajasthan High Court is also not just of Jaipur or Jodhpur, it is of entire Rajasthan.

CJI announced the launch of e-court facility in Bikaner. He said that the lawyers settled in Bikaner will now be able to practice from Bikaner only. The Central Government has given a budget of seven thousand crore rupees in e-Court Phase Three. Through this, video conferencing facility will be available in Bikaner. The Constitution was drafted keeping all classes in mind. The Constitution is not just a document of lawyers. Its spirit is the spirit of many ages. CJI said that Bikaner has made a big contribution in the making of the Constitution of India. One of the 284 members of the Constituent Assembly was Jaswant Singh of Bikaner.
