Earlier, the government had reduced the prices of many essential medicines last month as well. Last month, the prices of 41 commonly used medicines and 6 special medicines were reduced. Last month itself, the prices of antibiotics, multivitamins, diabetes and heart related medicines were reduced. Apart from this, liver medicines, gas and acidity medicines, painkillers, allergy medicines were also made cheaper last month.
