Alok Tripathi

Prayagraj, June 24 (HS). The Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad (ABVP) of Allahabad University held a sit-in protest against the National Examination Agency (NTA) at the student union building of Allahabad University at 6 pm on Monday. The unit president of Allahabad University, Alok Tripathi, said that the future of students is being spoiled due to irregularities in examinations. This should be stopped.

Alok Tripathi said that ABVP demands that such irregularities that keep happening should be investigated by the CBI and strict punishment should be ensured to the culprits, even if they are involved in bureaucracy. He said that for the last several days, huge irregularities are being seen in the examinations conducted by NTA. After the irregularities in the NEET-UG examination, the cancellation of the UGC-NET examination yesterday raises a big question mark on a government institution like NTA, which is very unfortunate and a matter of playing with the future of the students.

ABVP has demanded from the Ministry of Education that the concerned agencies should clarify the situation in this regard immediately so that the PhD candidates do not suffer any loss and it should also be ensured that the examination is completely fair and transparent.

ABVP Kashi Prant Saha-Secretary Kartikeya Pati Tripathi said that the incidents of continuous irregularities in the examinations are disturbing and unfortunate, which not only raise questions on the credibility of examination agencies like NTA but also play with the future of the students. This situation is not acceptable in any way. In the same sequence, the cancellation of UGC NET examination yesterday is going to put the future of UGC NET candidates as well as candidates preparing for PhD entrance in limbo.
