Lucknow, 05 July (HS). Under the leadership of National President of All India Anganwadi Employees Mahasabha, Gulab Singh, the workers and employees of the organization reached the Chief Minister's residence in Lucknow on Friday. Anganwadi employees submitted a memorandum addressed to the CM regarding various problems in his office.
After this, a meeting was held with the officials from all over the state at the Tourism Housing Development Hotel. During this, a discussion was held on filing a writ petition in the Supreme Court, New Delhi to protect the interests of Anganwadi workers.
The meeting officials decided that a writ petition would be filed in the Supreme Court, New Delhi to provide the Anganwadi workers the status of a government employee and to provide Rs. 24,500 to the Anganwadi workers and Mini Anganwadi workers and assistants and to provide a lump sum amount of Rs. 3 lakh to 10 lakh on retirement.
Present in the meeting were State Vice President Geeta Shukla, State Patron O.P. Singh, State Media Incharge Gopinath Mishra, Acting State President Renu Singh, District Minister Kamlesh Bhartiya, Poorvanchal President Singer Nand Lal Yadav, Lucknow Division President Ram Naresh Rawat, District Secretary Shyama Devi, District Treasurer Durga Devi, District General Secretary Neetu Devi, District President Gudiya Devi, Division President Captain Singh, District Incharge JP G, Manju Vishwakarma, Anurekha Shrivastava, Namita Sharma, Lakshmi Shrivastava etc. The program was conducted by State Spokesperson Advocate Arun Rajbhar.
