After Gyanvapi, ASI will now conduct survey of canteens in MP

After Kashi and Mathura in Uttar Pradesh, now a scientific survey of canteens will be conducted in Madhya Pradesh. The Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court clearly stated in its order that ASI should conduct a scientific and technical survey of the historicity of Bhojshala. A bench of Justice SA Dharmadhikari and Justice Devnarayan Mishra said in its order that the expert committee, in the presence of representatives from both the parties, carry out excavation and survey at appropriate places within a radius of 50 meters of the canteen premises along with all the other parties. Scientific measures available including ground penetration, radar systems. Photos and videos have been taken. A request was also made to submit the report to the court before April 29. The next hearing in the court will be on April 29. This petition was filed by the social organization Hindu Front for Justice. The court ordered ASI to constitute a five-member expert panel.

Bhojshala claims to be a Saraswati temple

In support of its claim that there is a Saraswati temple in Bhojshala, the Hindu side also presented color photographs of the complex before the High Court. After hearing the arguments, the High Court issued the order saying that it is the constitutional and statutory duty of the ASI to survey the Bhojshala Temple and Kamal Maula Masjid as soon as possible.
