Top 10 Corporate Tax Payers in India: The net worth of Adani Group owner Gautam Adani has increased dramatically in the last few years, making him the richest person in the country with a net worth of Rs 11.61 lakh crore in 2024. But such a huge earning group in the country is far behind in paying taxes. No significant contribution has been seen from them in the country's treasury.
Not a single company of the Adani Group is included in the list of companies paying the highest corporate tax in the country. The top 10 corporate taxpayers in the country include Reliance, two Tata Group companies, three government and other banks. But not a single company of the Adani Group is included among the nine companies listed in the stock market. If we look at the companies paying corporate tax, Adani Enterprises, the flagship company of the Adani Group, is nowhere in the top-10.
