ABVP demonstrated over educational problems in YD College

Lakhimpur Kheri, 19 September (HIST). In Yuvraj Dutt College, students protested under the banner of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad regarding various educational problems and after that a memorandum was submitted to the Principal.

City Minister Shikhar Tiwari said that the college does not even have basic facilities like clean drinking water and toilets, there is no lighting in the classrooms, due to this the future of the students is in limbo.

College student Aditya Pandey said that classes of various semesters are not running smoothly. There is constant movement of stray animals in the college, the bushes have not been cut for the last several months. Due to which the danger of poisonous animals also remains.

Department coordinator Aman Gupta said that there have been no new books in the college library for the last few years. Library means a place where students sit and study. But there is no such system in the college. There is a ban on studying while sitting in the library. Rs 100 extra was charged at the time of admission in the name of the college website that students will get the opportunity to study from the e-library through the website. There is no arrangement for this yet. The demand of the Student Council is that all the demands should be fulfilled as soon as possible otherwise the Student Council will be forced to protest.
