Through this option, you can update the information entered in your Aadhaar with the help of the documents of the head of your household.

They can easily update the information entered in Aadhaar using the documents of the head of their household. People like children, spouse, parents can be benefited from it. Many times children do not have any document other than Aadhaar. In such a situation, he can get his Aadhaar updated using the documents of his parents. UIDAI has issued a notification in this regard on January 3, 2023, informing that now with the help of only ‘head of the family’ documents, you will be able to update Aadhaar even without your own documents.
What documents are needed for the head of the household
Giving information about the matter, UIDAI has said that if you want to update your Aadhaar card through ‘Head of the Family’ documents, then you will have to prove your relationship with that person. For this, you will need documents like ration card, mark sheet, marriage certificate, passport, in which the name of the head of your household is registered. If you do not have any such document, you can get Aadhaar update on ‘Head of Household’ basis by submitting UIDAI pass through self-declaration.
Update your Aadhaar with ‘Head of Family’-
To update your Aadhaar card with the documents of the head of the family, the first step is My Aadhaar Portal https://myaadhaar.uidai.gov.in
Go to this portal and select the Aadhaar Update Process.
After this, select the option of Address Update in Aadhaar.
After this, if you do not have your own document, then enter the Aadhaar number of the ‘Head of the Family’ for the address update.
After this you have to submit the relationship document.
After this, a fee of Rs 50 will have to be paid for updating the address.
After this a service request number will be sent to the HOF. After this he has to login to the Aadhaar portal and get it approved within 30 days.
After this, your Aadhaar will be updated with the approval of your HOF.
Keep in mind, if the approval is not received within 30 days, then the request will be rejected.
