In Canada, Naumit Goswami of Karnal died after drowning while bathing in a swimming pool during a pool party. 8 months ago, the father sold his plot and sent his son to Canada on a study visa. He was doing a hotel management course in Ontario city and during his studies, he also worked in a restaurant.
According to the family, Naumit's son Subhash had gone to a friend's pool party in Canada on the night of 11 August. At around 8.30 pm, Naumit went alone to take a dip in the swimming pool. Initially it was shallow but suddenly it became deep. At the time of the incident, his other friends were in the party inside the hall. A friend saw that Naumit had drowned in the water. His friends jumped into the water and pulled him out. Naumit was given CPR in the ambulance. On giving it, the water came out of his stomach but there was no movement in his body, due to which Naumit died on the spot.
A relative of Naumit said that the family had sold their plot and sent Naumit to Canada and spent about Rs 23 lakh. About one and a half months ago, Naumit got a job in a restaurant in Ontario. He used to work along with his studies. Naumit's father works as a salesman in a soap factory. After receiving the news of Naumit's death, there was mourning in the family.
The family members said that the financial condition of the family is also not good, because the father had sold his plot and sent his son to Canada on a study visa. Funds are being collected through the Go Fund Me website so that Naumit's body can be brought to India and 20-year-old Naumit can be given a final farewell by his family.
