A new twist in the race for BJP President; Discussion of a new name from South India

New Delhi: The eagerness about its new national president in the Bharatiya Janata Party is increasing. It was discussed that the name of the national president will be announced by the first week of April. But the national president has not been elected. After this, the new president may be announced in the first week of May. It is being said that there is a fresh discussion between BJP and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) in this regard. Internal sources have said that the name will be announced after resolving differences between BJP and RSS in the selection of the national president.

RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat and Sarkaryavah Dattatreya Hosbole will visit Delhi this week. During this visit, he will hold a meeting with senior BJP leaders. Earlier on March 30, Prime Minister Narendra Modi went to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh headquarters in Nagpur and met Bhagwat, but no name was agreed at that time. Hence the election of the national president was delayed. Many names have been revealed so far in the race for the post of National President of BJP. Now the discussion on new names has started again.

CT Ravi
B.L. Solution
Manoj Sinha
Pralhad Joshi
Dharmendra dominated
Bhupendra Yadav

According to sources, C.T. Ravi is considered the strongest contender. He is not only from Karnataka but has also been associated with the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh for a long time. C.T., known for its aggressive politics and organizational skills, Ravi is also the former National General Secretary of BJP.

This time Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Home Minister Amit Shah want to make their favorite leader the national president. But the RSS wants to bring a strong and experienced organizer forward instead of the rubber stamp president. This time too, the Sangh is emphasizing on generational changes, as in 2010 during Nitin Gadkari’s tenure.

Can the next President be from South India?

According to the BJP’s strategy, this time the party president can also be from South India. BL Santosh and CT Ravi are both from Karnataka and are from the RSS background. Through this, the party wants to strengthen its roots in South India.

Dharmendra Pradhan and Bhupendra Yadav are also in the race.

Dharmendra is in the race for the post of President, who is considered an expert in the electoral strategy and for a long time associated with the Sangh. At the same time, the claim of Bhupendra Yadav, who played an important role in winning many elections in many elections, is also considered strong. However, the BJP is always known for unexpected decisions. The party is likely to bring forward any face that is not even named in the news.
