However, a case of murder of a grocery shop owner has been registered against her. On July 19, the police opened fire in Mahmadpur area of ​​​​Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh.

According to a report, Abu Saeed, the owner of a grocery shop in Mohammadpur, died in the firing. Former Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina has now been made an accused in this case. Apart from Sheikh Hasina, there are 6 other accused in this case.

Sheikh Hasina's party leader also accused

Apart from former PM Sheikh Hasina, her party Awami League general secretary Obaidul Quader, former home minister Asaduzzaman Khan Kamal, former Inspector General of Police (IGP) Chowdhury Abdullah Al Mamun, former detective branch chief Harunur Rashid, former DMP police commissioner Habibur Rahman were also accused. Former DMP joint commissioner Biplab Kumar Sarkar has also been made an accused in the case.

A case was also filed against government officials

Not only Sheikh Hasina and her party members but many police officers and government officials are also accused in this murder case. Mohammadpur resident Amir Hamza Shatil has filed a murder case in the court of Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Rajesh Chowdhury.

Firing done on anti-reservation protest

This murder case is related to the firing against reservation in Bangladesh. On July 19, a movement was going on against reservation in Bosila area of ​​​​Dhaka, the capital of Bangladesh. During this, the supporters of the movement were taking out a huge rally. The police fired at the rally, in which Abu Saeed was killed. Now all the government officials including Sheikh Hasina have been made accused in this case.
