Mirzapur, 27 August (HS). To reduce the crowd at the city's Janhavi Tiraha and strengthen the traffic facility, a link road will be built on Shastri Bridge towards Vindhyachal. City MLA Ratnakar Mishra and District Magistrate Priyanka Niranjan visited the spot along with officials on Tuesday and inspected it.
The city MLA told the District Magistrate that after crossing Shastri Bridge on coming towards the city from Chilh Tirahe, a narrow road on the right hand side goes towards Vindhyachal. Where about 15 to 20 feet of government land is vacant. By making a road for four wheelers coming from Vindhyachal to go to Shastri Bridge, the load of crowd on Janhvi Tirahe can be reduced. The District Magistrate inspected the spot and directed the Public Works Department and Municipal Officer to provide a report after inspection. During this, Additional District Magistrate (V.R.) Shiv Pratap Shukla, Additional Superintendent of Police Manoj Gupta, Executive Officer Municipal Council Goa Lal and other related officers were present.
