Toronto: Canadian police have seized a large quantity of guns, swords and spears from the house of encroachment activist Harjeet Singh Pattar in Surrey, British Columbia. Initially, the police could not identify the owner of that house from the pictures captured in the video of that house. But later a clear identification was found.

His name was found to be Harjeet Singh Pattar on social media accounts. He was close to the slain occupier Hardeep Singh Nijjar. It is well known that Nijjar was murdered by his old rival on June 18 last year while visiting a gurdwara in Surrey.

This Harjeet Singh Pattar has been identified from the video taken at the time of his son's engagement.

A list published by Canada's famous Royal Canadian Mounted Police states that on Thursday morning they came across an online video. It shows a group of people dancing with guns in their hands. After this, RCMP Surrey's South Community Response Unit (SCRU) started an investigation to find out where the video was taken. Now a Criminal Code investigation has been started against that person (Harjeet Pattar) and some guns, swords and spears have been recovered from the house of the owner of that house at around 5.30 pm on Thursday evening.

Harm-Dosenz Superintendent described it as a very serious matter and said that it is also disappointing for the entire society. Public safety is our top priority. Our officers immediately confiscated those weapons.

Along with this, it has also been learnt that various security agencies of Canada have seized weapons from pro-migration elements from the Lower Mainland region including Surrey.
