A case has been filed against the husband and six in-laws for harassing and beating the married woman for dowry

In a complaint given to the police station, a woman resident of Bhatavali in the Civil Lines area of ​​the metropolis accused her husband and six in-laws of harassing and beating her for dowry. On the basis of the complaint of the victim, a case was registered on Wednesday against the six accused including the husband.

Reena, a resident of Bhatavali, told the police that she was married to Madan, a resident of Bhatavali, 11 years ago. On Tuesday, at around 4 pm, her husband Madan came home drunk and beat her. On receiving the information, the victim's father Dharm Singh and brother Pradeep reached her house and inquired. Then her husband Madan, brother-in-law Kalua and Nishu, mother-in-law Kamlesh, father-in-law Chhatrapal and maternal aunt-in-law Manju beat them with sticks.

Civil Line Inspector RP Sharma said that on Wednesday the police station has registered a case against six people including the husband.
