On the lines of Ayodhya and Varanasi, now integrated development model will be implemented in Meerut, Mathura and Kanpur also. for this Meerut, Mathura-Vrindavan and Kanpur Development Authority to jointly develop new infrastructure facilities Rs 750 crore have been allocated.
1. Meerut: Gift of sports and modern accommodation
The budget for Meerut has focused on connectivity and manufacturing.
New Housing Scheme: near meerut after 35 years A new housing scheme will be started by the development authority, which will solve the problem of expansion and housing of the city.
Sports Hub: Special manufacturing push will be given to promote the Sports Goods Industry of Meerut.
RRTS: Funds have also been provided for the expansion of Delhi-Meerut Rapid Rail (RRTS) and its associated infrastructure.
2. Mathura-Vrindavan: Religious tourism and dairy sector
In the budget for Kanha city, there is emphasis on religious tourism as well as on farmers and employment.
Dairy Plant: in mathura 1 lakh liter per day For setting up new dairy plants of capacity Rs 23 crore have been allocated. Earlier this capacity was proposed to be only 30 thousand litres.
Tourism Development: A separate budget has been given for beautification of tourist facilities and ghats in Mathura-Vrindavan.
New Township: Work will be done on new plans for systematic urbanization in Mathura also.
3. Kanpur: Metro and industrial shine
There are preparations to make Kanpur, the industrial center of Uttar Pradesh, the ‘Manchester of the East’ again.
Metro Extension: A significant portion has been kept in the budget to speed up the next phases of Kanpur Metro.
Leather Industry: Infrastructure will be improved to make Kanpur’s leather industry competitive in the global market.
Connectivity: Lucknow-Kanpur Expressway The Development Authority has been given additional strength for the early completion and urban expansion of Kanpur.
