Varanasi, 04 September (HS). On the fifth day of Shringar Mahotsav organized in the court of Maa Kushmanda at Durgakund, the Panchameva Shringar of Mata Rani was done on Wednesday. A crowd of devotees gathered since evening to worship the Panchameva Shringar of the idol of Mata Rani. Ragini Sopori of Delhi made an appearance through her bhajans in the fifth night of the music festival organized in the court.
In the seven day Shringar Mahotsav being held in the temple, the devotees were delighted on the fourth day after seeing the Navrang Shringar of Mata Rani. In the Shringar, the idol of Mother was decorated with new types of flowers and garlands of nine colors of pearls. The decoration was done in the evening after the Panchamrit bath. Apart from this, flowers of hibiscus, lotus, rose, Swarnchampa, Juhi, Kamini, Champa, Jalbera and Rajnigandha and garlands of nine different colors of pearls were used in the decoration.
