Deputy CM Diya Kumari will unveil 12 feet high statue of Maharana Pratap in Kanera on Thursday | News India

Chittorgarh, September 4 (HS). Deputy Chief Minister of Rajasthan Government Diya Kumari will be on a one-day visit to Nimbahera Assembly constituency on Thursday, September 5. During this, she will unveil the equestrian statue of Mewar Ratna Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap in Kanera.

Former Minister of Autonomous Government and Nimbahera MLA Shrichand Kriplani said that for the first time in Indian history, a 12 feet high and 3100 kg statue of Veer Shiromani Maharana Pratap on horseback is being unveiled in Kanera tehsil of Nimbahera subdivision of the martyrdom land of Mewar. It will be unveiled by Deputy CM Diya Kumari. Deputy CM Diya Kumari will reach Kanera at 2 pm via Bassi, Bijaipur from Shahpura by road. Here the statue of Maharana Pratap will be unveiled at 2.30 pm. Earlier, while reaching Kanera from Shahpura, the Deputy CM will be welcomed by BJP workers in Bassi and Bijaipur on the way. While entering the Kanera Ghata area, the Deputy CM will visit Jhunji Maharaj and here she will be welcomed by the workers of Kanera area.

The chief guest of the Maharana Pratap statue unveiling ceremony organized in Kanera will be the Deputy CM, special guest will be MP CP Joshi and former minister and MLA Shrichand Kriplani. The ceremony will be presided over by the National President of Maharana Pratap Memorial Campaign, Chandraveer Singh Namana.

On this occasion, National President of All India Kshatriya Mahasabha Manvendra Singh Mathura, Tribal Development Minister of Rajasthan Government Babulal Kharari, Revenue Minister Hemant Meena, Cooperation Minister Gautam Dak, Rajya Sabha MP Chunnilal Garasiya, Jawad MLA of Madhya Pradesh Omprakash Sakhlecha, Chittorgarh BJP District President Mithulal Jat along with MLAs and public representatives of Chittorgarh district will be present as special guests of the function.
