India is now preparing indigenous fighter aircraft which will compete with China. To teach a lesson to neighbouring China, India will prepare 5.5 generation fighter aircraft AMCA. Preparations are being made to develop the first prototype of Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft indigenously by 2028. The 5.5th generation AMCA will be India's first indigenous stealth aircraft. It will weigh around 27 tonnes. It will be capable of carrying very heavy weapons with it.
Preparations are being done under the leadership of PM Modi
A cabinet committee headed by Prime Minister Narendra Modi recently gave the green signal to develop the fifth generation stealth fighter jet AMCA. Rs 15 thousand crore has been sanctioned for this project. Recently a meeting was held between the Indian Air Force and DRDO, in which the design, development and project of AMCA were discussed in detail, as well as a detailed assessment of its entire roadmap was done.
What will be the special features?
The agencies involved in the production of these aircraft are engaged in developing such a capability in the fighter jet, which will enable it to carry the AMCA missile completely stealthily. Such special features will also be included in this aircraft so that the enemy cannot track this aircraft. It will have two General Electric 414 (GE-414) engines. After the preparation of AMCA, it will become such a force for India that India will also join the queue of countries like China, Russia and America.
will face future challenges
Considering the actions of enemy neighbors and future challenges, India wants to develop this aircraft as soon as possible, which will take about 6 years. DRDO is also selecting development and manufacturing partners for the aircraft project, which will include public sector undertakings and private sector companies. AMCA can fly up to 65 thousand feet. This fighter jet will be made for the Indian Air Force and the Indian Navy. The Indian Air Force is planning to form 7 squadrons of these fighter aircraft.
AMCA Specializes in Combat Aircraft
AMCA will give a tough competition to the American F-35 and Russian Su-57. India currently has 4.5 generation Rafale fighter jets imported from France. The indigenous fighter jet developed in India will have about 14 hardpoints, along with this it will be equipped with 23 mm GSH-23 cannon. It will also be equipped with S8 rocket pod, Astra Mark-1, 2, 3, air-to-air NG-CCM missile, Brahmos NG and Rudram missile. The maximum speed of AMCA will be 2633 km per hour. Its range will be 3240 km. The combat range will be 1620 km. AMCA fighter plane will be 57.9 feet long. The wingspan of AMCA will be 36.6 feet, the height of AMCA will be 14.9 feet.
