The war between Hamas and Israel is still going on. A total of 18 Palestinians have been killed in Israeli attacks in the West Bank and Gaza. Nine Palestinians have been killed during a large-scale Israeli military operation in the northern West Bank. In addition, at least eight Palestinians are reported to have been killed in Israeli air strikes near a school for displaced people in central Gaza.
Use of helicopters and drones
Palestinian security sources said on Wednesday that the operation targeted the West Bank cities of Jenin, Tubas and Tulkarm, as well as several camps, causing damage to local infrastructure. Bulldozers, helicopters and drones were used in the operation, in which the Israeli army surrounded the three cities of Jenin, Tubas and Tulkarm. Three youths were killed in an Israeli drone attack on a vehicle in southern Jenin, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) said in a statement. Meanwhile, in Jenin itself, Israeli forces clashed with locals, in which two youths were killed by army bullets. The deceased youths are 25-year-old Qassem Jabrin and 39-year-old Asim Dabaa. Kamal Abu al-Rab, governor of Jenin in the Palestinian Authority, said Israeli forces threatened to attack hospitals and surround medical facilities in the city.
Israeli soldiers and sniper teams deployed
Four youths were killed in an Israeli drone bombing attack on the Fara refugee camp, south of Tubas. According to medical sources, the deceased were identified as Morad, 13, Mohammed Jesa, 17, Ibrahim Ghanimi, 22, and Ahmed Nabrisi, 23. In Tulkarm, Palestinian security sources said Israeli forces shelled the town and deployed troops and sniper teams in the forests and fields surrounding the Nur Shams camp.
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF), the Israel Security Authority and the Israeli police issued a joint statement saying that Israeli security forces had carried out “anti-terrorism” operations in three cities, including Jenin and Tulkarm, where five “armed terrorists” were killed, and four in the Fara refugee camp.
