Mirzapur, August 28 (HS). Under the Sub Mission on Agriculture Extension Scheme, 35 farmers of Farmer Producer Organization (FPO) will be trained at APEDA Varanasi. Additional District Agriculture Officer Kunwar Satendra Singh flagged off the bus of the farmers' group on Wednesday.
District Agriculture Officer Dr. Awadhesh Kumar Yadav said that after training from APEDA, the efficiency of FPO will increase and the income of farmers will be increased as per the intention of the government.
Additional District Agriculture Officer said that the FPO members will be given technical knowledge enhancement training at Agricultural and Processed Food Products Export Development Authority (APEDA) Varanasi. Along with this, information will be given about the product, export rules and conditions, standards as well as pack house.
For the training, farmers Dharmendra Kumar Maurya, Akhil Bhuvan Maurya, Rajendra Bharti, Ramji, Abhay Tiwari, Radheshyam, Amresh Chandra, Shyamlal Maurya, Ram Kishun Bind, Sitaram Shukla, Ashok Sharma, Indrapal Singh, Dinesh Singh, Ratankumar Singh, Shravan Kumar Singh and others left for Varanasi by bus.
