Russia continues to launch deadly attacks on Ukraine. Between Monday and Tuesday, Russia targeted entire Ukraine with missiles and drones, killing at least two people. Drone and missile attacks foiled
According to Alexander Vilkul, the chief military junta administrator in Ukraine's southern mining and industrial city of Kryvyi Rihstruk, the attacks targeted a residential building. Electricity was disrupted in the Kiev region after Russia's attack on Monday and air raid warnings were issued at least five times overnight. The regional administrator said air defence systems had thwarted all Russian drone and missile attacks but the debris had caused a forest fire.
Appeal to Ukraine's allies
President Volodymyr Zelensky on Monday described Russia's more than 100 missile and drone strikes as “disgusting.” He said the attacks damaged civilian infrastructure and hit most parts of the country. “Once again Russian terrorists have targeted energy infrastructure,” Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal said.
