Kathmandu, 28 August (HS). A Nepali student was shot dead in America last night. It has been learnt that this Nepali student was shot dead in her own apartment in Houston, Texas.
Houston police said that 21-year-old Nepali student Muna Pandey was shot dead in her own apartment. In a statement issued by the police, it was said that there were multiple bullet wounds on the body of the deceased girl.
The police have not yet said anything about the reason for the murder. The deceased Muna Pandey is said to be from Bhojpur district of Nepal. According to Dron Gautam, Vice President of the Nepali Association of Houston, Pandey, who went to the US in 2021 for graduate studies, was studying nursing at Houston Community College.
