Alex, the foreign trader of Makhana, requested the district officer to get the Makhana producers and the grade certification of Makhana done so that the import rules and prescribed standards of Europe can be met.
In the meeting, the District Officer informed that Makhana is considered a superfood and this district holds its place in the field of Makhana all over the world. Therefore, a big ecosystem is being prepared for Makhana and Makhana products in the district.
