Saharsa, August 27 (HS). Sub-divisional Police Officer Mukesh Kumar Thakur held a press conference at the Bakhtiyarpur police station of the district on Tuesday and shared information regarding the arrest.
He said that information was received about the activities of Udish Yadav, a resident of Turki village in Bakhtiyarpur police station area, a criminal with a reward of Rs 50,000 on his head declared by Saharsa Police, and his associate Rajesh Yadav of the same village in the police station area.
To arrest both of them, STF and local police formed a joint team and raided near Tulsiahi river in the border area of Bakhtiyarpur police station and Sonvarsha Raj police station area and arrested both of them. When the arrested criminals were interrogated, they told that they have kept their weapons at the house of their associate Ramnaresh Sah alias Molvi, a resident of Bhatauni village of the police station area.
On the information given by both of them, a raid was conducted at the house of the above mentioned person Ramnaresh Sah and two country-made pistols and five live cartridges were recovered from his house. The SDPO said that Udesh Yadav has a criminal history. After necessary interrogation, both the miscreants have been sent to the court in judicial custody. On this occasion, Circle Inspector Mo Sujauddin, Additional Police Station Incharge Indal Kumar Gupta and other personnel were present.
