Patna, 27 August (HS). Chief Minister Nitish Kumar inspected the model hospital under construction in the Guru Govind Singh Hospital campus of Patna City on Tuesday evening. He also instructed to complete the construction work expeditiously. During the inspection, the Chief Minister took detailed information about the construction work. Additional Chief Secretary of Health Department Pratyaya Amrit gave information about the campus plan through the map. He also informed that the cost of this model hospital is Rs 30.42 crore.
During the inspection, the Chief Minister instructed the officials to complete the construction of this model hospital by February 2025. Also construct a new building of the nurse hostel in this campus. He said that the access road to reach Guru Govind Singh Hospital should be fixed so that patients do not face any difficulty in reaching the hospital. With the completion of the construction work of the model hospital, the people of this area will get a lot of convenience in treatment. Due to the presence of state-of-the-art facilities in this model hospital, diseases will be treated in a better way.
The Chief Minister also inspected the Guru Govind Singh Hospital premises and enquired about the well-being of the patient's family. The Chief Minister also gave instructions to the officials regarding health facilities in the hospital.
