The centuries old Baldau temple and Radha Krishna temple have been decorated with paint and lights. 56 types of Mahabhog are also being prepared for Shri Krishna in these temples. This Mahabhog will be available to the common people from the night of Janmotsav till Chhathi.
The Baldau temple located in the city's Ramedi Mohalla was built hundreds of years ago. Built during the British rule, this temple has beautiful idols of Baldau besides Shri Krishna and Radha. A big swing has also been put in the courtyard of the temple, where Shri Krishna will be put on a swing after his birth anniversary. The temple's administrator has made all the preparations for this.
The temple priest JP Dwivedi said that the ancestors of Prem Agrawal built this temple. Its peak is about forty feet high. Statues of various gods and goddesses are installed in the temple premises. Preparations have been completed for the birth anniversary of Lord Krishna. Twenty-one kilograms of roses and marigolds were ordered. Also, milk, curd, honey and Ganga water along with other substances were arranged for the Jalabhishek. After the birth anniversary, Lord Krishna will be seated in a swing. Women will swing the swing collectively in the temple till the sixth day of Lord Krishna.
