Moradabad, 26 August (HS). On Monday, the Civil Line Police of the city arrested a youth from the Nagfani area on charges of making a reel with an illegal pistol on social media. A 12 bore pistol and cartridges were recovered from the accused. The arrested accused was presented in the court, from where he was sent to the district jail.
Superintendent of Police City Ranvijay Singh said on Monday that Sub-Inspector Arun Verma posted at Police Station Civil Lines received a video clip through social media, in which a young man has made a reel demonstrating an illegal pistol.
SP City further said that on investigation it was found that this reel was made by Akil of Thana Nagpani area. Today Civil Line Police arrested the accused Akil and recovered the illegal pistol and two cartridges shown in the reel from him. The arrested accused was produced in the court, from where he was sent to the district jail.
