Moradabad, 26 August (HS). After the annual election process of the Indian Medical Association Moradabad branch was completed unopposed, a new 60-member team including an 18-member executive was announced in the general body meeting of IMA on Monday. It was told that Dr. Sudeep Kaur was elected as the Secretary of IMA Moradabad. Dr. CP Singh was elected as the President Elect.
IMA Secretary Dr. Shruti Khanna said that last year Dr. Preeti Gupta was elected as President Elect. The installation ceremony of the new IMA team will be held on 22 September. After which the entire team will take charge from October 1 along with President Dr. Preeti Gupta and Secretary Dr. Sudeep Kaur. President Elect Dr. CP Singh will take over as the branch president next year.
The election of IMA's Moradabad branch was conducted under the guidance of Chief Election Officer Dr. Sudhir Middha, Assistant Election Officer Dr. Nitin Batra and Dr. Jitendra Kumar Sharma. IMA President Dr. Ravi Gangal said that the election was completed unopposed as only one candidate was nominated for all the posts including President Elect.
