East Champaran, August 26 (HS). During patrolling on Monday early morning, the soldiers of SSB 71st battalion Jhanjhra post caught a smuggler with 38 bags of urea fertilizer at a distance of fifty meters from pillar number 360/10.
The other smuggler managed to escape leaving behind three bikes and 8 cycles. It is noteworthy that all the urea fertilizers seized were being smuggled to Nepal. SSB officials said that the smuggler caught has been identified as Daroga Yadav, a resident of Nepal. The seized urea, cycles and bikes have been handed over to the Customs Department for necessary action.
