Mathura, 26 August (HS). The unborn appear in the form of an avatar for the welfare of the devotees. Be it a cowherd, a cowherd, a brother, a friend or a mother, whatever you like, establish a relationship with Krishna and become subservient to him. He is the one who will help you cross the hurdle, he is the one who will redeem you. Devkinandan Thakurji Maharaj expressed these sentiments while narrating the story of Kanhaiya to Krishna devotees on Monday evening.
At Priyakantju temple, Devkinandan Maharaj said that how much can we describe the good fortune of the people of Braj. The whole world worships Yogiraj Shri Krishna as God, but in Braj, he is called 'Laala' and fed in the lap. The women of Braj sometimes become Gopis, sometimes consider themselves Yashoda Maiya and get Kanhaiya born in their homes. Krishna appears in every home on the day of Krishna Janmashtami in Braj.
In the context of the story, he said that sunrise and sunset are holy times. One should meditate and worship God at both times. One should not eat, sleep or have intercourse at these times. Its results are not pleasant. He said that the path of life is found in satsang.
In the Sri Krishna Janmashtami festival, before the birth of Krishna, the devotees enjoyed a lot by dancing on the Bhajans. Bal Vyas Devansh Thakur enthralled everyone by singing the Bhajans, “Priyakantju's courtyard badhai baje, Maiya Yashoda's courtyard badhai baje…My Nandju's courtyard badhai…All the Brajvasis danced ecstatically…”.
Temple secretary Vijay Sharma said that Shri Krishna Janmashtami will be celebrated in the temple on Tuesday. Special preparations have been made for this. Maha Aarti will be performed after the Abhishek of Kanhaiya in the presence of thousands of devotees at midnight.
