Killing of Pakistani tourists in Balochistan: A major attack took place this morning in Pakistan's Balochistan's Musakhail district. Here gunmen shot 23 passengers after taking them off a bus. According to Pakistani media, in this morning's incident, armed attackers took the passengers off trucks and buses and identified the people of Pakistani Punjab and shot them dead.

According to Musakhail Assistant Commissioner Najeeb Kakar, 'Armed attackers blocked the road on the interstate highway in Rarsham area. After this, they stopped buses and trucks and started identifying the passengers, in which they identified the passengers from Punjab and shot them dead.'
Kakkar further said, 'The armed men also set fire to 10 vehicles. After the attack, the police reached the spot and took the bodies to the hospital. Of the dead, 3 were from Balochistan and the rest were from Punjab.'
Fear of attack by Baloch Liberation Army
Another senior district official, Hamid Zehri, also confirmed the death toll. He blamed militants of the Baloch Liberation Army (BLA), a militant separatist group active in the area, for the incident. Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti condemned the massacre and expressed his condolences to the families of those killed. He also said that the Balochistan government, police and army will punish the terrorists who carried out the attack.
A similar incident happened in 2015
Also in 2015, a labour camp near Turbat was attacked by gunmen in the early morning. In which 20 labourers were killed, while three labourers were injured. All the victims were from Sindh and Punjab.
