Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment Board (UP Police) had announced the recruitment for more than 60,000 constable posts, and the examination for the same was conducted recently. However, due to paper leak the exam was canceled and will now be conducted again. Meanwhile, a notice related to the examination is going viral on social media, in which the dates of June 20 and 21 are mentioned. However, the Uttar Pradesh Police Board has cautioned the public to be cautious and termed the notice as fake.

The UP Police recruitment drive aims to fill a total of 60,244 posts. Under this campaign, 24,102 posts are reserved for reserved categories. Additionally, the recruitment includes 6,024 posts for EWS category, 16,264 posts for OBC category, 12,650 posts for SC and 1,204 posts for ST.
The board said,
Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment and Promotion Board has tweeted a statement warning that fake information is being circulated regarding the written examination of Reserve Constable Recruitment-23. The Board has clarified that no such information has been officially released by the Board. Information related to the examination will be published on the Board's website http://uppbpb.gov.in and official handle @Upprpb including official notification.
