Deputy Commissioner cum Suburban Commissioner Shiv Shakti Kumar had married his niece for love. After this, he has been absconding from his office since August 13. Actually, Shiv Shakti Kumar, a resident of Manua village of Hajipur police station area of Vaishali district, was having a love affair with Sajal Sindhu of his own village.
In this love affair, both of them eloped and got married. On the other hand, Sajal Sindhu's family has lodged an FIR of kidnapping in Hajipur Sadar police station. After the FIR of kidnapping was lodged, on August 13, a video of Shiv Shakti Kumar and Sajal Sindhu from Begusarai Municipal Corporation office went viral, in which they talked about their love affair and got married.
Then on August 14, both of them got married in a temple in Khagaria. A video after the wedding has also surfaced. In this, both of them have said that they love each other and will then get married.

A complaint was lodged by the Mayor and Committee of Begusarai Municipal Corporation due to his continuous absence from the Municipal Corporation office here. After this, Deputy Municipal Commissioner Shiv Shakti Kumar was punished by the Urban Development and Housing Department of the Bihar Government and he was suspended with immediate effect. During the suspension period, his main office has been kept in Katihar Municipal Corporation office.

His act of making a video in the office and posting it on social media and remaining absent from the office is contrary to the conduct of a public servant and is indecent. This is a violation of Rule 3 of the Bihar Government's Servants' Conduct Rules. He is informally absent and absconding. Due to this, he has been suspended with immediate effect.
