Washington: Some Hindus have formed a group called 'Hindus for Kamala' to support Democratic Party candidate Kamala Harris in the US presidential election to be held in November. The group believes that she will be a great leader for India, America and even the world.

The founding members of the group said that the group was formed to help appoint 'Kamala Devi' Harris as the 47th President of the United States.

Kamala Harris (59), the vice president of the United States, on Thursday formally accepted the Democratic Party's nomination for the presidential election.

After this, a member of the group said that we should help Kamala Harris win, this would be the best thing for America, India and the world. Trump is a disaster.

The easiest way to make them win, another member said, is to support Harris without criticizing the other side.

The group has requested its members to help Hindus vote for Kamala Harris during the elections and put up signs (boards etc.) near their homes to vote for Harris, help her in her election campaign and also give donations for the same.

It is noteworthy that the current Vice President Kamala Harris is standing in the presidential election to be held in the United States in November. She has promised that she will become a president who will unite the people of the country.

Kamala Harris, 59, is the first woman, first Black and first Indian woman to be nominated by a major party for president in the United States.

When Harris, of Indian-African descent, was nominated as the party's presidential candidate at the Democratic Party's national convention in Chicago, she accepted it. Then she said in a speech, 'This election provides our country with a precious opportunity to move forward from the bitterness, pessimism and divisive battles of the past.' This election is not an opportunity to choose the next president as a member of a party or group. But to create a new path, to move forward as Americans.
