54-year-old R Sridhar has been appointed assistant coach by the Afghanistan cricket team for the series against New Zealand and South Africa. He has coached the Indian team
R Sridhar is a big name in the world of coaching. He has also coached the Indian team. Sridhar has been the fielding coach of the Indian team from 2014 to 2021. Level three certified coach Sridhar has been the assistant coach of India's Under-19 team. He has also worked with Punjab Kings in the IPL. He has been the President of the Tripura Cricket Board. Along with this, he has also been the assistant fielding and spin bowling coach at the National Cricket Academy. Talking about cricket career, Sridhar has scored 574 runs and taken 91 wickets in 35 List A matches. At the same time, he has also played 15 List A matches.
