After the murder of Khalistan terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar, an attempt has been made to kill another Khalistan supporter in America. Satinder Pal Singh Raju was travelling in a pickup in California when some armed men opened fire on him. However, he survived the attack. Satinder Pal Singh Raju is said to be very close to Hardeep Singh Nijjar. He is associated with Gurpatwant Pannu's organisation Sikh for Justice and was also involved in holding a referendum on Khalistan a few days ago.
Information given by Gurpatwant Pannu
Gurpatwant Pannu himself has given information about this attack. Gurpatwant Pannu said that Raju survived the deadly attack while traveling in a truck. The shooters fired so many bullets that the truck was destroyed. According to media reports, when Nijjar was killed in Surrey on June 18 last year, Satinder Pal Singh Raju was present in the city till October. During that time, Raju played an important role in organizing the 2023 referendum in Surrey and the referendum held in Calgary, Alberta on July 28 this year.
Gurpatwant Pannu accused the Indian government
Pannu has accused the Indian government of attacking Satinder Pal Singh Raju. He said that the Indian government wants to crush the Khalistan supporters, for this purpose our leaders are being killed. So far the US government has not arrested anyone nor has given any reason behind this incident. Earlier on August 10, firing was also done at the house of Raghbir Nijjar, former president of Gurunanak Sikh Gurdwara.
Four Indians arrested by Canadian agencies in Nijjar murder case
It is worth noting that the killing of Hardeep Nijjar has strained relations between New Delhi and Ottawa. Three months later, Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau told the Canadian Parliament that Nijjar was killed by Indian agents. However, India rejected this allegation calling it absurd. This year, Canadian agencies have arrested four Indians in connection with the murder of Nijjar. However, so far no evidence has been found of his links with Indian agents.
