Prime Minister of the interim government of Bangladesh Mohammad Yunus has given a speech about his policy for the first time. His speech makes it clear in which direction he wants to take Bangladesh under his leadership. In his first policy speech, he emphasized on the problems arising from the neighboring country as well as the economic strength of the country.

Muhammad Yunus outlined his priorities before diplomats and UN representatives on Sunday and promised that his government will continue to help more than one million Rohingya refugees in Bangladesh. Apart from this, he has also talked about continuing Bangladesh's textile business.

Protests affect textile industry

Bangladesh's textile industry has been badly affected by the protests that have been going on for more than three weeks since the fall of the government of former Bangladesh PM Sheikh Hasina. Mohammad Yunus said that in this way the textile industry will be made a big business and any attempt by those who cause harm will not be tolerated.

There are about 3,500 garment factories located in Bangladesh. The share of the garment business in the country's exports is 85 percent. Bangladesh exports garments worth about $ 55 billion annually, the dead protesters will get justice
