Saharsa, 17 August (HS). Astrologer Pandit Tarun Jha, founder of Braj Kishore Jyotish Sansthan Dr. Rehman Chowk Saharsa, has told that according to the Mithila University Panchang, this year on the day of Raksha Bandhan, Bhadra has been there since morning, which will end at 1:32 in the afternoon. Tying Rakhi is prohibited during Bhadra. Rakhi should be tied only after 1.32 days, which will be appropriate and auspicious.

Raksha Bandhan is considered a symbol of love and dedication between brother and sister. On this day, the sister ties a Rakhi on her brother's wrist and the brother promises to protect his sister. Rakhi is also called Raksha Sutra. While tying Raksha Sutra on her brother's wrist, the sister prays for his long life. While tying Raksha Sutra in all the religious rituals of Hinduism, Acharya ji recites a verse in Sanskrit. In which the connection of Raksha Bandhan with King Bali is clearly visible.

According to Bhavishya Purana, this verse was recited by Brihaspati, the guru of gods, while tying the protective thread made by Indrani on the hands of Indra.
