Forbesganj/Araria, 17 August (HS). The jawans of Pathardeva BOP under Bathnaha of SSB 56th battalion have arrested two youths near Indo-Nepal border with 3 lakh Indian currency. Both the arrested youths were coming to Indian territory from Nepal in a four wheeler. During this, when SSB stopped the vehicle near Kochgama village of Sonapur Panchayat and searched it, 3 lakh Indian currency was found in a polythene kept in the tool behind the seat.
SSB prepared a seizure list of the recovered amount and handed it over to Bathnaha police station. It is being told that the arrested person is Lal Kumar, resident of Murali Gangapur, Ward No. 03, Bhaptiyahi, District Supaul and the second person is Jitendra Kumar Yadav, resident of Chilwa Ward No. 01, Police Station Kishanpur, District Supaul.
In this regard, camp in-charge Surat Singh Chauhan said that necessary action has been taken against both the youths and they have been handed over to Bathnaha police station.
