Gopalganj, August 17 (HS). The problems of patients have increased due to the stoppage of OPD services in all government hospitals of the district including Sadar Hospital.
OPD service has been closed for 24 hours in protest against the rape and murder of a PG student of Kolkata's RG Kar Medical College. Patients are returning without getting treatment after reaching the OPD ward of Sadar Hospital. Indian Medical Association has announced a strike. Association leader Dr. Captain SK Jha said that OPD service will remain closed. Whereas Sadar Hospital is crowded with patients since morning.
