Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) will conduct the Class 12 examination from March 1, 2024. The intermediate examinations of Chhattisgarh Board will end on March 23, 2024. Class 12th exams will start with Hindi paper. Admit cards for CGBSE 12th board exam have already been released and students who have not yet downloaded their exam hall tickets can do so from the official website cgbse.nic.in.
Class 12 board exams will start at 9:15 am and will continue till 12:15 pm. The board has directed students to sit in their assigned seats by 9 am, as answer sheets will be distributed at 9:05 am and question papers at 9:10 am. In 2013, Chhattisgarh Board conducted the 12th class examination from March 1 to March 31.
DOS and don'ts:
Students appearing for the 12th class board exam must compulsorily carry their admit card. Students arriving at the examination center without hall ticket will not be allowed to participate in the examination. Additionally, candidates must also bring their official identity along with the admit card. Electronic devices are prohibited at the examination centre. If any student is found with an electronic device, they will be immediately removed from the examination centre, and further participation in the examination will be prohibited.
Helpline number issued:
This year, the board has also released a helpline number to provide psychological and educational support to students, teachers and parents. Tips to deal with exam stress are also being given through this number. The helpline number, 18002334363, is available from 11 am to 5 pm on all days except Sundays and holidays.
Furthermore, Chhattisgarh Board has announced that the state board exams for classes 10th and 12th will soon be conducted twice a year. However, the department has not yet announced whether the change in board exam pattern will be implemented in the upcoming academic year or the next academic year.
