Moradabad, August 14 (HS). Under the aegis of BJP Moradabad Mahanagar unit, a seminar, silent procession and exhibition were organized on Partition Horror Day on Wednesday under the aegis of Har Ghar Tiranga Abhiyan. UP government's Minister of State Jaswant Singh Saini was the keynote speaker in the seminar. In the seminar, the Minister of State said that this is an unfortunate day in India's history. Hatred and violence had spread in the society. This day reminds us of India's struggle and sacrifice. On this day, lakhs of people were displaced from their native places. They were treated in a cruel manner. From Lahore to Pathankot, lakhs of refugees came to divided India, they had pain in their hearts.

In the seminar, Punjabi Samaj convenor Khairati Lal Malhotra, seminar convenor Harish Bhasin, Satish Madan gave detailed information about the sufferings faced during the Partition. They said that it is difficult to forget the Partition horror. The pain of displacement can only be explained by those who have suffered it. Partition Horror Memorial Day reminds us of that bloody history, which would be in the interest of humanity if not repeated.

The seminar was presided over by BJP Metropolitan President Sanjay Sharma. On this occasion, regional minister Harjinder Kaur, city MLA Ritesh Gupta, Legislative Council member Dr. Jaipal Singh Vyas, MLC Gopal Anjan were present.
