Lucknow, August 14 (HS). Samajwadi Party (SP) national president and former chief minister Akhilesh Yadav has said that the BJP leadership is nervous due to falling short of majority in the Lok Sabha elections and losing many of its key seats in Uttar Pradesh. The BJP is scared of its defeat in the upcoming assembly by-elections and that is why it is not refraining from using deceit and misuse of power.

Akhilesh said that BJP is trying its best to win the by-elections in Uttar Pradesh. The Uttar Pradesh government thinks that it will sail through by removing officials of the administration and appointing officials of its own choice. When the public has come out in the field to defeat BJP in the by-elections, no matter how much BJP misuses governmental and administrative power to remove some officials, no one can stop them from losing. It also remains to be seen that who will finally approve the impartiality of the officials who will replace them?

The SP president said that the Chief Minister has started making postings on the basis of caste and religion before the by-elections to save his lost credibility. This is an attempt to pollute the transparency and fairness of the elections. One thing is now certain that no one can save the BJP from the humiliation of losing all its 10 seats in the by-elections. The public is crying out due to the anti-people policies of the BJP. The BJP is incapable of dealing with issues like inflation, unemployment, injustice, atrocities and police recruitment, NEET paper leak, women's safety, protection of the Constitution and reservation, Nazul land. Akhilesh Yadav said that after the by-elections, the people of Uttar Pradesh are ready to wipe out the BJP in the 2027 assembly elections as well.
