Lucknow, 13 August (HS). On 11 August, the body of a young man was found in a ditch in the Intauja police station area. In this case, the police has disclosed the incident and arrested his friend. The friend had killed the young man when he protested against the abuse.
Deputy Commissioner of Police Abhijeet R Shankar told reporters on Tuesday that the body of a young man was found in a pit in Gohna Khurd village of Intauja. The deceased was identified as Ashish, a resident of Kesaramau. The deceased's father Desram Lodhi had lodged a murder case against unknown persons. Police registered a case on the basis of the complaint and started investigation. Three teams formed for the investigation arrested Anil Verma of the same village and interrogated him. He told the police that he and the deceased Ashish were good friends. On the night of the 8th, both of them drank alcohol together. When Ashish was heavily drunk, he started abusing Anil's mother and sister. During this, Anil strangled Ashish with a T-shirt, due to which he died. He fled after throwing the body in the pit. The police also recovered the cloth used in the murder. The accused has been arrested and sent to jail.
