Car falls into canal, father, son and grandson die | News India

Hanumangarh, August 12 (HS). A car fell into the Indira Gandhi canal while learning driving in the Tibbi area of ​​Hanumangarh. Imam father-son and their five-year-old grandson were travelling in it. The car got filled with water and all three died. The bodies could be taken out after three hours of hard work.

Tibbi police station in-charge Jagdish Pander said that on Monday morning, information was received about a car falling into the Indira Gandhi canal near Rathi Kheda Talwara lake. Talwara police and Tibbi police reached the spot. Hanumangarh SDRF team and local divers were immediately informed. Efforts to retrieve the bodies began. After three hours of hard work, the bodies of the three people in the car were taken out in the afternoon.

The deceased were identified as Sanib Ali (18), Imam Margub Alam (52) and Mohammad Hasnain (5). All were residents of Rathi Kheda village. Sanib Ali was the younger son of Imam Margub Alam. Mohammad Hasnain was the son of Gulab Mustafa. Gulab Mustafa is the elder son of Margub Alam. Mustafa is a cleric at a mosque in Malot.

ASI Hansraj posted at Talwara police station said that some information has been received from eyewitness Ravindra. Ravindra told the police that he saw a white Swift car on the road near the canal. Sanib Ali, who was driving the car, was making a video by taking his hand out of the window. After that the car stopped. Sanib got out of the car and made a video of the canal. After this, his father Imam Margub Alam sat on the driving seat and started driving the car. Meanwhile, the car went out of control and fell into the canal. Family members say that Sanib Ali was teaching his father Imam Margub Alam to drive the car, when the accident happened.
