There was a stir on Monday evening when the body of senior advocate Shaukeen, a resident of Jigar Colony of Civil Lines police station area, was found in a well in Majhola police station area. The advocate was missing since Sunday evening and his family had lodged a missing report. Police and forensic team have reached on the information. The family of the deceased has suspected murder.
Senior advocate Shaukeen, resident of Jigar Colony of Civil Lines, left home on his scooter on Sunday evening and when he did not return home till late night, his family members called him. When the phone was not answered, the family got worried. The advocate's son informed the Civil Lines police station. After this, the police traced the location of the missing senior advocate's phone and the last location was found to be in Majhola police station area. After this, Majhola police station and Civil Lines police started searching for the advocate in the area. On Monday evening, Majhola police station informed about a dead body lying in a well in the forest located in Lakadi of Majhola police station area. When the police station reached the spot and got the body removed from the well, the dead body was identified as missing senior advocate Shaukeen, resident of Jigar Colony of Civil Lines. The recovered body has a bullet wound on it. The forensic team, which reached the spot on receiving the information, has started collecting evidence. The police station is preparing to seal the body and send it for post-mortem.
Superintendent of Police Nagar Kumar Ranvijay Singh said that three teams have been formed to solve this murder case and investigation has been started. The murder is being investigated from every angle.
