Jalshakti Minister Swatantradev Singh, while holding a review meeting in the new auditorium of Jal Nigam Gramin, said that action will be taken against Brij Gopal Construction i.e. BGCC company which is working at a slow pace in Jhansi, Jalaun. Principal Secretary Anurag Shrivastava should investigate the responsible people of the company and the culprits will be sent to jail. Jalshakti Minister said that apart from this, there is also a slow pace in Sonbhadra, the engineers and agencies there should increase their speed. Attention should be paid to the quality and speed of the project.
In the review meeting, Swatantradev Singh reprimanded the Executive Engineer of Sitapur, Prayagraj. The Jal Shakti Minister said that if any complaint is received against any engineer for withholding bills, then immediate action should be taken against him. The pipeline work is not complete, the roads are dug up. After the digging work for laying the pipeline is over, get the road repair work completed immediately. At the places where the work has been going on for one and a half years, if potholes are found there, action will be taken against the culprits. If any agency shows evasion in road repair, it will be sent to jail. There should not be any shortage of manpower in road repair.
