Prayagraj, August 11 (HS). Science studies about the types of our flora and fauna and their protection. This study helps us to understand the causes and consequences of natural disasters (floods, earthquakes, landslides, cyclones etc.) and measures to reduce pollution and effects such as radioactive pollution, noise pollution, soil, water and social pollution.

The above views were expressed by Dr. Shubhankar Dwivedi, the chief guest, on Sunday at the closing ceremony of science and environmental conservation at Jwala Devi Saraswati Vidya Mandir Inter College, Gangapuri Rasulabad.

While presiding over the closing ceremony held from 3 to 10 August at Jwala Devi, retired Additional Director General of Indian Railways Ashok Kumar said that for environmental protection, it is the responsibility of every person to maintain sustainability in his use and behavior. Use natural resources judiciously. Make plans to reduce plastic and pollution and increase social awareness. Because nature is like our mother, we should protect it like our mother.

While blessing all the brothers and sisters, the school's principal Yugal Kishore Mishra said that learning from the way science is progressing today, all of you also need to emphasize on innovative experiments and artificial intelligence. Along with this, there is an urgent need to make the society aware while protecting the environment yourself. Only then will the concept of environmental protection be fulfilled.

The coordinator of the program, Harishankar Prajapati, presented the outline of science and environmental protection from the point of view of educational advancement of the brothers and sisters. In this week-long program, competitions like poster, painting, model, essay writing, tree plantation, debate etc. were organized. The guests honored the participating brothers and sisters by giving them medals and certificates at the school level.

The program was conducted by the school's teacher Rita Vishwakarma and student Indrani Singh. On this occasion, teachers like Janardan Prasad Dubey, Sudhakar Pandey, Shiv Prasad, Harishankar, Ved Giri, Suraj Chaurasia, Shivanand Mishra etc. were present.
