Superintendent of Police Sankalp Sharma told on Sunday that after the death of student Shivam Yadav in a food poisoning case in Jai Prakash Narayan Sarvodaya Vidyalaya Mehrauna under Bariyarpur police station area, a case was registered against M/s Kanhaiya Enterprises Rajesh Kumar Gupta under various sections. In this sequence, mess incharge Rajesh Gupta has been arrested today.
The Superintendent of Police said that after the incident, on the complaint of District Social Welfare Officer Jaiswar Lal Bahadur, a case was registered at Bariyarpur Police Station under Sections 105, 125, 223, 271, 272 BNS. In this case, Rajesh, a resident of Chaurichaura, Gorakhpur, was arrested by SHO Mahendra Kumar and Sub-Inspector Satyaprakash Yadav and the police team after interrogation.
