Madhya Pradesh, 10 August (HS). The Nagarpalika team demolished the dilapidated building of the PWD department near Mahal Tiraha on Saturday afternoon with the help of a JCB. The decision to demolish about one and a half dozen dilapidated government buildings in the city was taken in the council meeting held recently. Implementing the said decision, the Nagar Palika has started action.
According to the information, today i.e. on Saturday, the dilapidated building of the PWD department located near the city's Mahal Tiraha has been demolished by the municipal team with the help of JCB. The decision to demolish about 17 dilapidated government buildings located in the city was taken in the council meeting held recently. Implementing the decision, the municipality has started action. On Saturday afternoon, 17 such government buildings of the city have been identified. They have been ordered to be vacated within 3 days. If anyone does not follow the order, strict action will be taken against him.
Chief Municipal Officer Madhuri Sharma said that in the council meeting, 17 such government buildings of the city were identified, which have become dilapidated and can collapse during the rains. With the intention of preventing untoward incidents, the decision to demolish all these buildings was taken unanimously and action has been started. She said that the people living in the dilapidated buildings have been given 3 days' time and instructions have been given to vacate the buildings themselves. After this, where the buildings will not be vacated, strict action will be taken there.
